Bouchie Lake Country Kids Club

Bouchie Lake Foodies
A club for people passionate about food; for those that see a meal as an adventure!
Do you spend as much or more time talking about food as you do eating it? When you try a new recipe, is the post-game analysis as much of a thrill as the try-outs? Do you agonize over whether kosher salt is an acceptable alternative to fleur de sel? Are your memories of travel as much consumed by the meals you ate as the sights you saw or the things you did?
If you said YES to any of those questions then you are a bone fide FOODIE!

Quesnel Fruit Exchange

In late summer-early fall berries and fruit bearing trees begin to ripen. A bear consumes approximately 20,000 calories a day in preparation fro hibernation. Unpicked fruit attracts bears to our backyards, increases the potential for interaction as well as bear habituation.
The purpose of this group is to link the general public together to exchange fruit, share fruit with friends or family and/or donate to the community as well as for those who would like help picking fruit.
Please feel free to post/advertise any fruit that needs picking or if you have some to share.
Be responsible with your fruit; try to pick fruit as it ripens and help to keep our wildlife wild and out of our backyards.
